Killer Tips to Generate New leads on Facebook

Social media is super powerful when it comes to generating new leads and finding new customers, as this is where the people are. When it comes to generating leads, you want to find your audience. Right now – yes, still(!) – everyone is on Facebook. So, this blog post will show you how you can generate fantastic new leads on Facebook, just as we have done for many of our clients in Birmingham and the West Midlands.

#1 Facebook Live

You may be pretty scared to show your face to the world, but Facebook Live is literally one of the best way to build an audience and generating leads. And, best of all, you don’t have to spend any money!

Facebook’s algorithms are even actively pushing Facebook Live posts MORE than some people who are paying for advertisingon Facebook. Try to incorporate a weekly show on Facebook where you are offering value to your customers or entertaining them in some way. Be sure to end each live chat with a clear call to action. For example, if you want sales of a product, make sure you push those people from the Live conversation to the product checkout page so they can purchase that product straight away.

#2 Facebook Messenger Bots

We won’t go into too much depth here (blog post coming soon!), but by setting up a Facebook bot they can automatically interact with your customers online (so, essentially, they do the hard work for you so long as you have configured the bot correctly). For example, say you create a Facebook post offering to give something away for free to generate some new lead, someone may reply to your message or comment on your post expressing their interest. Instead of having to wait for hours, or even days, to get back to them, the customer can automatically receive a follow up from a bot providing the details necessary to access that freebie.

#3 Facebook Ads

This involved paying Facebook to carefully target your product/service to users across the platform. If you want to learn how to do Facebook ads properly you can hop over to Gareth’s YouTube channel where he will be delivering a course on how to set up and run Facebook ad campaigns properly for positive ROI. Done properly, Facebook ads are a killer way to get new leads quickly and cheaply.

#4 Facebook Groups

Facebook Groups aren’t talked about too much and businesses underestimate their power to give them new customers and clients. Businesses can use groups to build a community of dedicated individuals who like and trust them, and therefore feel comfortable to take their recommendations and suggestions. This will, quite clearly, result in sales down the line. I’d recommend keeping the groups CLOSED so you can build a stronger and deeper relationship with your prospects and turn them into leads and sales.

#5 Social Media Posting Schedule

You need to be strategic. Too many companies splurge a series of random and unrelated posts, which end up simply damaging the chance to generate new leads. Post on purpose for profits to ensure you are making the most of your time and generating the results you desire. The most vital tips are to keep the branding consistent, updating your followers a couple of times a day, and ensure there are clear calls to action (tell your followers what you want them to do!).

#6 Use a funnel

No, we don’t mean a funnel you find in the chemistry lab. When your followers look at your posts, watch your videos, and check out your other updates, you must have somewhere for them all to go so you can collect their information. Without their information there is no way to follow up with them, rendering your initial content almostuseless. One of the popular methods to get leads on Facebook using a funnel is to explored in tip #3 above, and simply involves a lead-generation ad that hooks them with valuable content and offers a freebie if they enter their information.

#7 Engage with everyone

Don’t you just hate it when you send a message to someone and they don’t reply. This is how your community feel when they engage with you and you don’t bother to send anything back. However, engaging is only step one. You must also get these people into your sales funnel, and link them back to your valuable content and free giveaways to see who the interested prospects are. Those that are interested in your business will happily guide themselves through your sales funnel, and ultimately generate a sale.
